In this episode of Community Convener, we're highlighting the people, projects, and partnerships helping shape the future of Henry County.

Joe sits down with our 2026 Summer PIN interns for a conversation about the innovative projects they'll be tackling this summer, including efforts to strengthen support for gig workers, freelancers, and solopreneurs through the Henry County Chamber's Henry Hub℠ membership tier and the upcoming Gig Connector℠  platform.

Later, we spotlight one of the Chamber's signature events as Barbara Ingram, Director of Communications and Staff Liaison for the Engagement and Inclusion Committee, and George Crews, Area Manager with Georgia Power and Chair of the Engagement and Inclusion Committee, share why the 2026 Innovation Summit is a must-attend experience for business leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers across the region.

We also receive the latest SPLOST update from Clayton Carte, Senior Public Relations Specialist with Henry County, who discusses major roadway projects currently underway throughout Henry County and how these investments are helping prepare the community for future growth.

In a special Member Minute, Jerry Freeman of Delta Community Credit Union reflects on the organization's impact in Henry County and discusses what it means to be recognized as the Henry County Chamber's 2025 Business of the Year.

Plus, Trinity Archer shares details about upcoming Teen Entrepreneurship Workshops hosted in partnership with the Henry County Library System, designed to introduce students to entrepreneurship and connect them with opportunities through the FLEX program.

And as always, we'll wrap up with upcoming events, member news, and ways to stay connected with your Chamber community.
